| TAU maintains its commitment to the American market and will have a large stand at the Coverings 2010 show. From 27th to 30th April, the company will be promoting products such as Mythos, Fiber, Point and Magma at the major US ceramics event
TAU will be taking part in the forthcoming Coverings 2010 show which will be held in Orlando (Miami) from 27th to 30th April and is seen as the most important event for ceramic materials in the United States. This means that, in spite of the difficulties suffered by this market as a result of the situation in terms of property and financial dealings and the disparity between the dollar and the euro, TAU is maintaining a commitment which it sees as strategically important, given that the US is one of the markets with the greatest projected short and medium-term growth, as well as having a catalogue of products well-suited to the standards and demands of North American consumers.
TAU will have a stand at Coverings 2010 covering 150 square metres, a large area with the spotlight firmly on the Mythos, Fiber, Magma and Ombrone models. So the Spanish company has created four environments on its stand, designed to show off the effects and qualities of four exclusive and very aesthetically attractive products to the best possible advantage.
For instance, Mythos is TAU’s response to the trend in interior design championing the use of classic, timelessly beautiful materials. The model draws on the purity of marble, reproducing the material with total accuracy. In this case the company has gone for pieces in the 25x36.5, 45x45 and 45x90 formats within the stand environment.
Fiber, on the other hand, is all about freshness and dynamism. The collection has been designed in five colours (red, white, wenge, blue and black) which can in turn be used in endless combinations, each of which is also characterised by the originality put across by the little glints on their surfaces and the smoothness of their textures. The TAU stand has been designed in 20x60 format, and will be showing a recreation based upon the red and white models, all set off by the personality of the Prímula decoration.
Moving on, Magma is a porcelain tile model, designed in 45x90 format and inspired by stone materials. Although elegant and restrained, at the same time Magma is also harmonious and balanced and its limestone effect can give rooms an incredibly natural, lifelike effect of high mountain spaces. At Coverings, TAU will be showing off all the versatility of this product, which includes coordinated mosaics and floor tiles in 45x45 format, in order to create whole environments.
As for Ombrone, it draws directly on Rapolano marble, a refined, exclusive product achieved using new decoration techniques, allowing a relief which is very smooth to the touch, in order to boost the effect in terms of the comfort offered to the users of a room.
TAU has one of the largest product catalogues on the market, as well as being one of the most experienced companies when it comes to offering architectonic, urban and interior design solutions to professionals. Indeed, TAU products have technical accreditation which means they can be recommended for sustainable architecture, a field which is developing considerably in a market as large as the United States.
