| TAU launches its new range of furnishings designed to match bathroom ceramics and offer an entire lifestyle choice TAU is really pushing the boundaries. At the Cevisama 2011 trade show, which is being held at the Feria Valencia exhibition centre from 8th to 11th February, the TAU stand (Pavilion 3, Level 3, Stand B42) is showing off the company’s new collection of furnishings for bathrooms, involving four products which take things so much further than a mere aesthetic, functional finish by merging totally symbiotically with the ceramic materials used to cover the bathroom itself, thus creating a fully-integrated, harmonious, unusual and quite perfect environment. The innovative range is a logical, calculated step along the road that the company has mapped out for the future. The work done at TAU every single day actually goes further than merely offering high-quality designer products and services, as it involves bringing all these elements together and then pushing them right to the very limits of what can be done with them, resulting in a series of products which do not merely have a purpose in themselves, but are part of a whole world of their own, an all-in living environment, whose main benefit is in helping to improve quality of life. This is how TAU places its own unmistakeably unique stamp of excellence, both indoors and outside the home, and this is why, after more than forty years of international recognition, it is one of the most innovative ceramic floor and wall tile producers around, with a catalogue that now includes some of the world’s most cutting-edge systems and solutions in the fields of interior design, architecture and urban planning. The incorporation of the new range of bathroom furnishings is another step in this direction and it’s about far more than just bathroom furniture - it caters comprehensively to the needs of people who see the living environment as so much more than a mere series of individual items and indeed as a kind of harmonic environment where each item has a key role to play, at the same time accurately reflecting the personalities of the people who live there. The key feature of this product range - which is the first on the market to incorporate both ceramics and the bathroom – is the merging of chromatic variations, finishes, textures, shapes, etc. into a brand-new kind of melodic decorative symphony with which TAU is breaking completely new ground. Point is aimed at the kind of people whose style is youthful, cheerful, modern and uninhibited. The palette of colours and points used in the tile designs and which also stretch across the surfaces of the furnishings are its main hallmark. Hebra, on the other hand, provides a more balanced, timeless line, with an innovative interpretation of the classic concept of design. In this case, the merging of the ceramics and furnishings is brought about by the texture, reproducing the reliefs of a model which draws its inspiration from textiles, giving a truly unusual finish. The third product is Corten. This model goes perfectly with one of the most popular ceramic series seen over the last few years, which is now being combined with the line of furnishings of the same name, producing quite amazing results. In this model the asymmetry and volumes come together to provide a carefully designed structure made up of superimpositions which provide the most cutting-edge look to be found anywhere in interior design. Finally, Greta‘s main hallmark is its straight, minimalist lines, together with a very high gloss finish, inspired directly by steel. Not a single detail is overlooked in TAU bathroom environments and, in fact, together with the ceramics and furnishings there are also mirrors, and some of the models also have their designs seamlessly incorporated into the surface of the glass for a perfect match. All of the mechanical components and parts of all four products have also been manufactured in Austria using the best quality materials and to the highest possible standards. The washbasins are made of ceramics, picking up on the latest trend on the market, with the single exception of the Hebra model, which is also available in glass. All of this is available at a highly competitive price because there is no reason why you can’t have design, quality and style – indeed they all go hand-in-glove when they bear the TAU hallmark. The company will be drawing on this same philosophy of showing off complete environments at Cevisama to introduce its new exhibition concept, which is designed to be more in line with the current showroom trends demanded by the market and TAU will be rolling this concept out to its key distributors so that they too can be part of the new era of decoration and interior design. At the end of the day this is the TAU lifestyle.
