TAU presents the second edition of INSIGNIA at Cersaie
At this edition of Cersaie, TAU Cerámica presents the second CÁPSULA EDITION from the INSIGNIA collection, which it has developed over the course of 2018 following the presentation of its first edition at Cevisama.
A tribute that, as we mentioned at its first presentation, is reflected in the logo: the flagship T for Tau is duplicated to create the I for Insignia.
Inspiration for the INSIGNIA collection was taken from Nature, Art, History, Literature, Architecture and, in short, LIFE to incorporate the company’s latest investments in technology and innovation, which have allowed for the development of new formats and new finishes.
We discovered wonderful materials at the first edition of Insignia. We learned why it exists and how they captivated various artists to become witnesses of history, culture and art. Now, with this second edition of Insignia, we are embarking on a unique adventure. One of those adventures that so many great artists need to have. We want to show you more than a material, more than a product; we want to show you the history that lies behind it, our creative and emotional process.
Throughout our CÁPSULA EDITION, we delve deep into the history of a gorgeous yacht to discover the importance of the details around us and what they evoke within us: their colour, form, texture and essence.
Three textile textures
TISSÉ (40x120 / 20x60 cm) inspired by the sea and watercolours, it comes in four tones: Grayblue, White, Silver and Blue.
CHANNEL (30x90 cm) inspired by the sails of a yacht, it comes in four colours: White, Linen, Sand and Gray.
STONE, CEMENT AND WOOD
Smeaton (25x75) reminiscent of the typical beach huts - were the leitmotif for this collection, complemented by a slender and imposing stone – Cornwall (30x90/20x60 cm), a cement – Devon (120x120/60x120/75x75 cm) – and a wood – Dive (20x120/25x75 cm).
We presented new formats at this edition of Cersaie, such as the 90x180, 30x180, 22.5x180 and 25x100 cm, which join our already extensive offer. We also brought new textures, new finishes, resulting from Tau’s commitment to investing in technology and development that seek technical and aesthetic excellence in the product.
TAU remains fully committed to technology, innovation and large formats with Ascale. The extensive ceramics portfolio from Tau has now been joined by the 12 mm thick 320x160 slabs for producing worktops and any other work surface. This new product completes our catalogue with a standard thickness range, a 20 mm thickened range for outdoor areas and a third 3 and 6 mm Slim line for large format items.
All these new products can be found and enjoyed in the exhibition area of TAU Cerámica at CERSAIE, located in Hall 18, Stand A10/B09.
