Tau Square<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A stand concept that crosses borders to visually express the power of ceramic tile, design and architecture using material like ceramic tile and doing so in a place that\u2019s open to everyone – a square.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re coming to Cevisama<\/strong><\/a> with an original experiential stand on which we\u2019ve worked shoulder to shoulder with Erre Arquitectura<\/strong><\/a>, the firm that is developing the Valencia Arena<\/strong><\/a> project alongside the international firm HOK<\/strong><\/a>.<\/div>“><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The stand highlights design and architecture in an open space created to be a meeting place at Cevisama<\/strong><\/a>, the leading trade show in the ceramic tile sector. A more than 500 square metre stand with 2,000 square metres of ceramic tile displayed on the ceilings and walls, weighing 30 tonnes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Very different with a wrap-around design where the resulting play of lights, shadows and textures will reflect an evocative space designed to demonstrate all the possibilities afforded by ceramic tile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The stand, which is called TAU Square<\/strong>, was conceived as a place to gather and meet – a square that is capable of hosting visitors and fostering personal relations and the exchange of ideas.
In fact, it will be right in this place where TAU Cer\u00e1mica<\/strong><\/a> and ERRE Arquitectura<\/strong><\/a> will offer a schedule of events to reflect upon design as a tool that is able to transform society through different projects of a social and economic nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ERRE Arquitectura<\/strong><\/a> and Tau Cer\u00e1mica<\/strong><\/a> present their stand and new projects. Jos\u00e9 Mart\u00ed, ERRE partner, and Alejandra de Juan, Project Director, will be attending. The first event will be on 3rd February at 12:00 p.m. during which the stand that will exhibit the firm\u2019s new developments will be presented to the press and they will discuss some ERRE Arquitectura projects. It\u2019s a time to find out first-hand about the biggest architectural projects coming to the city of Valencia over the next few years such as the Valencia Arena and the renovated Valeriola Palace at the future Hortensia Herrero Art Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wednesday, 5th February will be the day to talk about design in connection with innovation, sustainability<\/strong> and its transformational capability on all levels. A roundtable moderated by Xavi Calvo, Director of Valencia World Design Capital 2022<\/strong><\/a> with the participation of professionals from ERRE Arquitectura talking about projects like InHaus, concrete prefabricated homes, El Fabricante de Espheras, which is responsible for the renovations of the Betx\u00ed Palace, Designable, the sustainable building brand in city centres and Viccarbe, an interior design and furnishings company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tau de Cer\u00e1mica Awards<\/strong>
The stand will also be the place where the Tau de Cer\u00e1mica<\/strong><\/a> Awards will be handed out. Students in the University Master\u2019s in Design Engineering programme at Universitat Polit\u00e8nica de Val\u00e8ncia<\/strong><\/a> will present the ceramic tile pieces they have designed and awards will be given to the top three. The students in the University Master\u2019s in Advanced Architecture, Landscaping, Urban Planning and Design at ETSA_UPV will also be recognized for designing the CERSAIE<\/strong><\/a> 2020 stand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
