SENSE: TAU embraces slow design at Cersaie 2025

In a world saturated with stimuli, TAU takes a pause — and turns it into a proposal. This is how SENSE is born, the concept we bring to Cersaie 2025: an invitation to look at ceramics with different eyes — slower, more attentive, more conscious — and to rediscover the value of what is essential.

Where? At our brand-new stand in Hall 26 · A2-B6: a renewed space that not only grows in size but transforms into an experience — honest materials, natural light, visual order, and a journey that invites you to discover, not just to look.

SENSE: less artifice, more matter

SENSE is not just a collection or a catalog. It is a curatorial idea that champions slow design as a contemporary language:

• Surfaces that don’t shout, but speak.

• Textures that are felt more than imposed.

• Colors that don’t overwhelm, but soothe.

This approach is reflected in every decision: from the choice of materials to the digital tools that accompany visitors throughout their journey.

Gravita: technique at the service of design

One of the main highlights in Bologna will be Gravita, a new ceramic manufacturing process that enables the creation of multi-format surfaces with high aesthetic value. But the real breakthrough goes beyond technical innovation: Gravita is a project tool.

It allows designers to adapt scale and layout rhythm to each architectural space, creating both visual continuity and tactile richness, with total freedom for architects, interior designers, and specifiers.

Under this technology, new series make their debut:

• Petra, exploring the mineral serenity of stone.

• Detroit, a clean, architectural interpretation of cement.

• Lucca, a contemporary reimagining of marble.

All of them join Calcare, which has already become a reference since its presentation at Cerámica Experience.

Materials with character and coherence

The SENSE universe is completed with other proposals that expand the narrative without breaking its essence:

• Mythe, our sober take on natural slate, highlighted by international media such as Forbes.

• Portobello, a terrazzo that balances tradition and modernity, designed for both large surfaces and residential projects that seek personality without excess.

And this is only a preview. At Cersaie, TAU will showcase other novelties where matter takes the spotlight and light does the rest.

Digital tools to see, compare, and decide

SENSE also speaks a practical language. This year, we enhance our digital ecosystem so that inspiration naturally leads to decision:
